The Social Web

Steve Conklin is thinking out loud about a new social app. It's interesting that we've been at this for a loooong time, and still feel a longing for the Solution That Is Not Yet Here.

No time to weigh in with my own thoughts, but Steve I know welcomes yours. I just added my own brief comment there.

Is it really this bad? Have the crowds of geeks who think smart=good dwindled to zero? Is this guy just not looking deep enough? I dunno. Something doesn't seem quite right about this story to me.

Nice AP story by Brett Barrouquere: Truckers Are Taking to Wireless Internet. Nice to find out Flyng J, Petro Stopping Ceners and Truckstop.net are all thick with hot spots.
