Connected hotel in London?

Just got myself situated in Dublin for April 27th to 29th, thanks to a helpful reader. Now looking to do the same in London for the nights of April 30th to May 2nd.

All I want are a high speed internet connection, wired or wi-fi, and a relatively cheap nightly rate. Some nice places have been recommended, but they're pretty expensive.

We're here in Baltimore, barely awake (still on Pacific time) and already late for most of the masses in town, knowing nearly nothing about the area yet baffled with the choices...

Me, I figure you look for some Starbucks, figure that civilization must be nearby, and head for the zone.
