Coasting
I'm still a kid about flying, and it amazes me that I can sit here, looking out over palm trees and the Pacific, knowing that in a few hours I'll be looking down on the Atlantic as we land in Boston.
See ya there.
Cavalcade of stats
David Sifry has just posted his first State of the Blogosphere since October. I don't have time to read it right now (see next post). But there's lots for ya'll to chew on, including a new noun: spings.
VC disruption, cont'd
The VC disruption conversation has gone a bit quiet. So I'll point additional thoughts from NextSmallThings, Horizon of Stars, Slater Ramblings, BubbleGeneration, David Crow, Tim Oren, Paul Graham, and the latest four from Rick Segal, who got me started on it all.
One-on-Seven
Paul Montgomery has some thoughts about the Gillmor Gang. And podcasting in general. John Furrier, Bob Cringeley and Cameron Reilly all take some heat.
How could I forget?
Happy Birthday to Christopher Marlowe, Ronald Reagan, Babe Ruth, Bob Marley and Allen Searls.
Hey, I just found out that Wil Wheaton and I were born the same day.
Bad prophesy
The common wisdom favored Pittsburgh. My uncommon cluelessness (ask me about basketball... I know a few things about that) favored Seattle, mostly because everybody else favored Pittsburgh. And I love the city.
But what the hell. Pittsburgh rocked.
