SevenTogether?

Om Malik says Six Apart will buy Live Journal.

The First, at last

Dan Gillmor is finally a free-range blogger. He was the first big-J journalist to blog (he started in October 1999), and ever since then he's been the engine pulling us all through the tunnel. Now he's out in the clear, still leading the way.

Congrats, big guy.

And thanks to the San Jose Mercury-News for hosting Dan all these years. They'll miss him.

Visioncasting

The Sound of Vision: 01/03/2005 is out, from The Vision Thing. I'm a guest on the podcast. Haven't listened yet. Looking forward to it, having had a good time participating in it. More on Scoble's blog and in the comments.

Not sure when my G'Day World Podcast will be up. If you're subscibed, you'll know.

Including perhaps the first-ever example of "pundit" used as a verb by the AP

Associated Press (via the Taipei Times): More US adults reading Web logs. It sources, sans links, the Pew survey. (It's a .pdf. If it were in a non-proprietary and non-Web-hostile form, I'd copy some quotable stuff out of it. But it isn't, so fuggit.)
