Ball five, dudes

Got a good nights sleep after a looong travel day yesterday. Fell asleep at the top of the 8th during the World Series last night. Woke up a few hours later to find the score had held. Nice pitching by both teams in the late innings.

Much as I'm rooting for the Giants, I find myself really liking both teams. Should be a good series.

Giants in 5.

Also... this morning I read a piece in the Oct 7 New Yorker about how the Mets were stoned most of this year. Literally. Talk about a failure of philosophy. Even Lou Pinella wouldn't go there.

Coasting

Made it to Ft. Lauderdale. Came by way of Chicago yesterday. It was 44 degrees there, and 84 here. This morning it feels like 90.
