Just in time for the World Series
In four hours we drive down to LAX, get on a plane and head for the cruise.
Guess it's time to start packing.
[3am...] And we're off.
Last minute tech support request
So when I put a DVD in the drive of the TiBook (G4/500) it tells me "DVD Player encountered a serious error. The current machine or system configuration is not supported. [-70013]"
I think I know why.
I moved everything from this machine (the G4/500) to a borrowed G4/800 while the /500 got a new hard drive, then duplicated the /800 onto the /500's drive, using it as a target over FireWire. In other words, I cloned an /800 system onto an older /500. Works fine except where the device driver is different, which is the case with the /500. It's an older drive.
Anyway, I'm getting ready to go on the cruise, Apple's tech support is asleep now, and I''d like to get some advice on how to get the right device driver back in this thing.
Ideas?
Thanks!
