Digging dirt
Halleys Comment gives me good advice for today: slow down. He also kindly attributes my tendency to lose things to the presence of a kindergarten-age kid in the household, rather than the Attention Deficit Disorder with which I would surely have been labeled if distractability had been a recognized syndrome in 1952.
So today is gardening day. We're planting lettuce, arugula, bok choy, swiss chard, broccoli and a mess of herbs. The boy has his boots and gloves on, and is standing at the door, busting me for avoiding hard work — just like my kindergarten teacher did forty-nine years ago.
8 on X
With a little (okay, a lot) of help from Brent and Dave, I'm up on Radio 8 on OS X. It looks and feels wonderful. I just wish I had something more to say, but it's pushing 1am and I need to sleep. Stay tuned, if not awake.
