Putting the wholes together
So I was checking out the Identity Scene, looking at what Eric Norlin of IDG wrote here, then at what Scott Kveton of JanRain wrote here then at what Kim Cameron of Microsoft wrote here... all as part of thinking about how to fix public broadcasting's funding problems — which is a challenge I'd like to address (or at least think out loud about some more) before visiting NPR at the end of next week, then hanging out in Boston for more stuff the week following.
The Identity Thing is coming together. Now I want to put some of that togetherness to work on a project.
So I wrote up this at Linux Journal. And more is on the way. Watch here too.
Death and the City
I'll be touring Baltimore with my daughter Colette later today. It'll be fun to dig deeper into a city that celebrates Edgar Allan Poe and H.L. Mencken as literary heroes. Or hell, just heroes.
Friends in deed
Jim Gray is still missing, but friends are still working on finding him. You can help too.
