Happy trails
Nice coverage of the George Washington Bridge, now 75 years old. My father helped build it when he was barely out of his teens. He was a cable rigger, among other things. Looks like him, straddling the huge compacting contraption here.
Thanks to Dean for the pointage.
Extra! Extra!

I killed at least an hour today, looking for my car in Central Parking at Logan Airport. Should have shot pictures of the "guides" to the two completley different structures, both called "Central Parking".
On the flies
It's been a busy week here in Boston (and yesterday, Philadelphia). Too busy to blog, it turns out. Meaning: lots of time away from the keyboard, from a Net connection, or from both.
Meanwhile, I got some great pictures from airplanes, plus some bonus shots of a fabulous sunrise in Philly this morning. So, that's what I just put up. More later.
