Some of the news that's fit to share

Two NYTimes items: Exploring the Right to Share, Mix and Burn and Our Ratings, Ourselves.

Plus one more that's potentially huge: I.B.M. Hopes to Profit by Making Patents Available Free. As with so many other practical advances in infrastructural technology, much more money will be made because of these patents than with these patents. Kind of like the way it's going with a certain other market we know well.

Chip Hoagland: Would Marcel Marceau Blog? I was thinking, Maybe if he were still alive... So I checked and it turns out he is, and he's still touring.

I looked up Marcel Marceau weblog and got this. Which inspired the headline.

All the print that's fit to blog

Nice set of links from Bob Meade on the whole Newspaper Thing. Here are two more.

Who's your blogger?

Mike Sanders has a hope about Microsoft blogging that I address over at IT Garage.

What it is, anyway

The Head Lemur:

Blogging for Dollars $800.00 per month

Gold Sponsorship at Corante $1000.00 per month

Seeing the Marqui Logo on Corante PRICELESS!!!

Stowe Boyd responds:

We won't bar Marqui from the world of open discourse on the issue, and we won't say "we won't take your filthy money." In fact, we hope Marqui continues to participate in more conventional forms of sponsorship.]

The InFuckingFix is in

I am told (both here and here), that the Fucking Insertion Principle is already a linguistic rule.
