Pepys show

Danny O'Brien on the perils of RSS readers:

I'm forever getting half-way through what I think is one of Doc Searls' posts, then abruptly realising that I'm actually reading Samuel Pepys' Diary. "Met with Tom Newton, my old comrade, and took him to the Crown in the Palace". Oh, oh, I think: he means this palace, not this palace.

Pepys is pronounced Peeps. Coincidence?

Speaking of which, today I'm heading from my Mom's p(a)lace in North Carolina to my own in California. See ya there.

Parallel blogiverses

I just wandered from here to here to here to here to here to here to here to here to here to here to here to here to here to here and here and here and here and here and here and here and here and here and here and here before I had to stop because I need to pack.

Among too many other things, I found that Dave Barry, the funniest columnist alive, has a blog. Wish Hal Crowther, my favorite columnist of any breed, would start one too. Here's his take on bad talk radio.
